Innovative design solutions

ARC prides itself on exceptional customer service, innovation, flexibility and understanding our customer's needs. Our team likes going the extra mile, as nothing is better than the feeling of accomplishment when we exceed our client's expectations in the quality of the product and service they received.

From the design of the swatches through to the development of cabinet systems, we use our decades of expertise in recommending solutions, so clients have the best possible experience and results.

From start to finish, ARC will work with your team, using your color standards and paint to design and produce outstanding color tools for your refinish brand.

Color standards and QC

Every color is matched to supplied standards using our customers' paint, so the color mix is an accurate match to the car that is being repaired. We conduct multiple quality checks to ensure accurate representation of the formula. ARC's ISO 9001 processes include quality control measures to hold the color accuracy.

Best practice for color matching

Our color team follow an identical process to how the bodyshop will use your paint system. Starting with the formula from your color mixing software, our experts weigh out your toners and produce a spray-out card for verification against your color standard to ensure the match is accurate.

Once the match is confirmed, we spray the color in a process that replicates the spraying of a vehicle in a spray booth, following your standard specifications for ground coats, flash-off times and application instructions. We then spray our archival card sheets with your automotive system's 2K clearcoat, so the final swatch is a faithful reproduction of exactly how a bodyshop would use your system.

To correctly analyze the color, always compare the color under the correct light sources: sunlight or color corrected light.
